iphone monday

i have decided to start this new thing called "iphone monday".

why? here are some reasons.

1) i take 20 million pictures on my phone.

2) i never do anything with the majority of them.

3) because it will help me blog more.

4) because my life is super exciting... ha ha ha

so now that you have enough reasons to tune back in next monday...

here is what happened last week on the cute bird phone of mine.

Wednesday: a looong drive to North Carolina.

but notice how welcoming it was.

minor hiccup... i locked the keys in my car at 1 am.

oops... notice battle wound below.

this was received when i dove through the trunk to unlock the car. 

(received makes it sound much more awesome than the other options)

Thursday: lunch at Natty Greene's and a drive to Richmond.

Friday: The brides father knows how much we love our cheerwine!

Saturday: morning errands for the Bride... 

LA is super proud of her hard earned muscles.

Sunday: finally on our way home after a short stop in Indianapolis.

ummm... wait what?

im super sad i dont have a picture of the bride or the wedding...

but as soon as they are in my possession i will immediately blog about them...

seriously! 

and on a very exciting side note...

one of these pictures happened this week so it counts.

 i am super excited to welcome my nephew into the world on October 23rd!

i figured it was only appropriate to document when the spoiling began.

laura hunter is going to the chapel

i am currently... not currently... packing. 

but i decided to take a break, 

oh so reluctantly, 

to let you know laura hunter is getting married this weekend. 

and if you were wondering what is on my to do list tonight...

well that would be to find my lost silver shoe.

just call me hobbles, 

because if i dont find it thats what im going to be.

and also pack, my stuff and the husbands.

and to sleep... 

oh wait, 

but seriously.

i cant wait to be a part of the covenant she will make with aaron on Saturday.

january through march

now that you have caught up on october, november, and december...

here is a little more reading material. :)

january....

 we said goodbye to our friends alycia and justin so they could move to Texas.

 we got our first snow...

serious snow right there my friends.

and we may or may not have taken another trip home...

but if we did- then i definitely got to go see the clef hangers with my sister in laws and mother in law! 

nothing is better than southern acapella

february...

les and lacey moved to indiana...

but not really lacey...

she will move after their wedding.

i love my southern friend so much.

there was a valentines dinner...

and cutting the tomato got the best of my finger.

i along with everyone else became captivated with the hunger games.

there was a fun photo shoot i did of some friends...

ill bring those around later.

March...

was busy!

 we celebrated hannahs birthday at uptown art.

our apartment complex turned on our air! :)

(clearly a mild winter)

i fell deeply in love with pretzels. :)

 lesley ann and i threw laura hunter a bachelorette party.

and all the girls painted her something for their new home. :)

but the biggest news we got in march is that we are going to be

Aunt McCaffity and Uncle Josh!

Lauren and Matt are having a little one in October...

and we couldn't be happier!

I cant wait to spoil that little one so much!

october to december

a dear friend asked me the other day when the last time i blogged was and sadly my answer was her birthday. yes friends... incase you havent noticed i havent blogged since october.

so i figured i would show you what happened in our life during october, november, and december.

October.

we picked pumpkins in Indiana.

sweet baby olivia monroe was born! 

les and lacey got engaged!

brady and i had the priveledge of doing their engagement pictures.

November.

 we went to Nashville, TN to babysit some pretty adorable little girls for our friends Sam and Beverly.

we also went home for thanksgiving.

we were able to have a bonfire with some great friends. we realized that night how wonderful old friendships are and that we are all growing up. its wonderful to see God's blessings in our life. 

December.

 josh finished exams and was rewarded with a Carolina Christmas tree, with the rule that it stays in the office.

 pinterest came to live in my living room, 

so my friends could have super awesome christmas gifts...

with really awesome wrapping. 

our wonderful Christmas tree... 

 a Christmas reunion with sweet college friends...

 then the sad drive back to Kentucky but fortunately on a gorgeous day.

my friend kelly and i were able to give our friend Alycia a baby shower.

see we were pretty busy. hence the reason i didnt have time to blog. :)
